OBSIDIAN TRACE is a public-interest simulation and research group focused on open-source intelligence, disaster resilience, and operational fieldcraft.

We operate entirely within the bounds of legality and ethics. Our mission is to explore, educate, and simulate the capabilities and responses required for a secure, stable, and safe public.

Structure

OBSIDIAN TRACE is designed to conduct lawful public-interest intelligence collection, experiments, and simulations independently or cooperatively. We sometimes release in-house briefs for topics we feel may serve the public-interest. We never accept, release, obtain, or utilize sensitive information, including information containing PII, sensitive government information, or law enforcement intelligence.
